Things To Do in Noosa for Seniors
Eumundi Markets
The Eumundi Markets are a favourite of both locals and tourists. The markets are open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The stalls have a lot on offer, from food to jewellery and arts and crafts to clothing. The markets are huge! With so much on offer, you can easily spend quite a bit of time there.
There are also special events on certain days like live music and entertainment to enjoy during your market stroll or Christmas Markets.
Hiking Trails and Beach Walks
One of Noosa’s best features is the natural scenery, so immerse yourself in all kinds of wildlife and the Queensland fresh air.
Here are some walks to explore:
Buderim Forest Park and Falls: This one is a nice, short walk that is great for everyone. Just wear some supportive walking shoes and your swimmers once you get to the swimming hole!
Noosa River Foreshore Path: This one is perfect to walk in the open air of Noosa. It’s paved and great for a little exercise along the Noosa River.
Alexandria Bay Track: This one is great for some ocean views. A little longer than the other two, get your feet sandy and hopefully catch the view of some sea and forest wildlife.
Community Events
The Noosa Council offers a range of social, creative and exercise events specifically for seniors to keep active, healthy and happy. This is perfect if you want to attend arranged events a little bit away from home. There is always something on each day.
